Welcome to the official Mosby Museum site on the Internet. The Mosby Museum is the only museum solely devoted to interpreting the military career of Colonel John Singleton Mosby and Warrenton's Civil War experience. The museum also seeks to preserve the National Register of Historic Places property known as 'Brentmoor" The Spilman-Mosby House.'

The information provided here tells you about Brentmoor's more famous residents and the effort to restore this historic house while establishing the Mosby Museum. Our site will continue to grow as we develop educational programs, special events, and other activities designed to bring alive the spirit of the Gray Ghost.

The Mosby Museum is funded by the John Singleton Mosby Foundation and program revenues. The museum needs sponsorship and donations to sustain its ambitious restoration and institutional development programs. Any contributions are welcome and membership information can be found elsewhere in this site.
